Purbarn Hail In The Storm

DoB 14/06/2001
Hips 6 : 6 = 12
Hail has been the one who has been the most versatile Golden we have ever had ! He has been a fantastic Show Dog, Picking-up dog and also a Beating Dog, which he normally dose with Rich although I have on occasions worked him with some of my Picking-up Team.
In the Show ring he has taken 2 CC's both with Best of Breed and won many 1st prizes along the way. He has excelled in the Gamekeepers ring at Crufts winning the Best Gamekeepers Dog in Show Title 3 times. He has also won his breed class at Cufts and now at almost 9 years old we put him in the Veteran Class at Crufts 2010 and he took 5th out of a class of 30, 10 of which were already Champions.
Hail has a full brother called Hardy in South Africa who is South African Champion Purbarn Hailing Hard owned by Ches & Sue Greenwood.
He also has a half brother Quill in USA who is Canadian Champion Purbarn's Forcast is Tranquil owned by Jean Deresienska.
Sadly we had to retire Hail from Stud at the end of 2007 but he continues to be a very good show dog and working dog. It was also sad that we never kept anything closely related to him. But many of his descendants have done well in the Show Ring, Obedience Ring and at Working Tests, It is hoped that one of these namely Purbarn Orange Night Sky [Sky to his friends] will be entered for some Field Trials during the 2010/2011 Shooting Season.
