'Truffle'
DoB 23 / 11 / 2004
Clear eye certificate 2010

Truffel was an accident and was the result of a chance encounter between Bridie [our unregistered Brown & White Springer] seducing her kennel mate Tucker [our first, Cocker Sussex cross]. Bridie seemed to have blank or silent seasons now and again and we were not expecting her in season so we did not think she would be in whelp, but she was. Rich has his own name for this cross also Springingcocsux. Our old Vet did ask if we were going to advertise them as such, but it was decided that we might get the wrong sort of clientele !
Truffle seems to have got more of the Working Cocker and Springer mentality in him than the Sussex, as he is a very active dog being as keen to work with as much enthusiasm at the end of a days picking up or beating as he was at the start, he never seems to tire and as such has been good to have on days when there is a lot of dense cover and undergrowth.
