'Bandit'
DoB 18 / 09 / 1997
[KC registered name Cheese N' Chives]
Well his mother was Crisp so all the litter were flavours of Crisps. Rich kept 2 from the litter the other being Smokey Bakon, so the 2 pups were nicknamed Smokey & the Bandit. Eventually a friend has Smokey and we kept Bandit, who most probably would have been called Chives if we had not kept the two in the first place.
Bandit is a pure bred Working Cocker and was by our Bib [Bring Um On Bibb] out of a Gold Cocker bitch called Crisp [Amerdown Crisp].
He has been a fantastic working dog over many years but sadly after moving up to North Wales in 2007 he became very ill and we nearly lost him with an autoimmune problem, but he has a will to live and is still with us in 2010 and still enjoying life and his food although his coat hasent got the shine it used to have and he offten gets balled patches.
In 2006 Bandit joined 2 of our Golden Retrievers at Crufts and did us proud by winning a 2nd in the Gamekeepers Spaniel Class.
Bandits clame to fame was being the sire of a litter of which one went to live with Ann Robinson who hosts the Weakest Link on the TV.
