Twig was from the 3rd mating between Bib [working Cocker] & Ellie [Sussex Spaniel] and therefore is Tucker's and also Wilts Flake's full but younger sister.
Twig has had 4 litters all by Chocolate Working Cockers and always produced Chocolate puppies. We decided to keep 2 bitches one form her 3rd litter, namely Tillie and one from her last litter namely Teal. They are both as good as their mother and their uncle's at working.
Twig has never ceased to amaze us with her versatility and her capability of picking the biggest pheasants and ducks. She has a fantastic nose and will follow the scent of a wounded bird over extremely long distances, thickest cover and rough terrane.
Twig was still working well last season [2009/2010] and if she wants to work and can still hear me I will continue to use her once a week during the 2010/2011 Shooting season also.
